Set up Grok Bot safely. Then build five bounded bots for question intake, sourced research, drafting, consistency checks and sponsor tracking. Nothing goes out until you approve it.
What you will be able to do
- Decide whether Grok Bot fits your channel: Learn how Grok Bot differs from Custom Agents in the Grok chat app and from bots built on the Grok API. Find out which plans include it, and check the current plan on x.ai/pricing before you buy. Watch for the 'Plus' versus 'SuperGrok Plus' naming trap.
- Set it up with the least access that works: Keep Auto-review on and add Ask first rules for every post, reply, DM, send, purchase and delete. Switch off app tools you don't need, set Execution on this computer to Never allow, and save no cards in Vault. Keep private messages, sponsor contracts and children's information out of the tool.
- Write instructions a bot can actually follow: Write a setup message that gives the bot one job and its sources. It also lists what the bot may do without asking, what it must ask about and what it must never do, and tells it when to stop and report missing or conflicting data. Then save the process as a skill and turn it into a routine you've tested.
- Hand off your recurring prep to bots: Build four bots. A Monday intake bot groups audience questions by viewer need. A research bot puts a source and date on every claim and pauses when a newer source contradicts an older one. A drafting bot follows your voice guide, and a sponsor tracker follows deliverables and disclosures.
- Keep one fact true on every platform: Run a consistency check across scripts, captions, on-screen text, chapter titles and pinned comments. It catches a dropped qualifier or an outdated fact. Every spoken line comes back to you instead of being changed by a bot.
- Share and review bots without losing control: Share a Team Bot with an editor or manager, and in Slack if you use it. A shared bot runs on the owner's apps and logins, and each bot gets a named human owner. Check work logs, run history and approval cards, mark each item approve, return or hold, and add your corrections to the bot's standing instructions.
