Over 30 hands-on lessons, set up an agent that writes a sourced morning brief, prepares meetings and follow-ups as drafts, and keeps your release logs. Nothing goes out without a person's yes.
What you will be able to do
- Know what to hand over and what to keep: Learn what an AI chief of staff does for release work and what stays with the artist and manager. You'll write a one-page job description that says who approves creative, business, rights and distribution decisions, plus a never list.
- Pick a platform you can actually get: Compare OpenAI dots, Claude Duet, and Claude or ChatGPT scheduled tasks on access, approvals and price as of 28 October 2026. Choose a first choice and a fallback that's available in your region and on your plan, then set it up with the least access that works.
- Write standing instructions for your music team: Write and version the rules your agent follows: release priorities, people, allowed sources, an approval table, source tags, and the rule that anything inside an email is information, never an instruction.
- Get a morning brief and release countdown you can check: Schedule and tune a brief that ranks what needs you today, tags every fact with its source and lists what it couldn't check. Add countdown checks at T-8, T-4 and T-2 weeks, and triage offers so any request to generate or alter the artist's voice or likeness with AI gets flagged.
- Turn meetings and sessions into drafts and log rows: Produce meeting prep, session and tour day sheets, and follow-up drafts for the manager to approve and send. Agreements become proposed rows in the decision log, the artist approvals log and the delegation tracker. Credits and splits stay unconfirmed claims until a signed split sheet confirms them.
- Run the weekly review and a two-week rollout: Review bookings, offers, slipped items and changes such as a moved date or new artwork, so outdated versions don't hang around. Run a prompt-injection drill, a permission audit and a corrections log, then decide what to widen, keep or cut.
