A hands-on course for chief executives. Set up Muse with the least access that works, then run a daily brief, decision prep, goal check-ins and board drafts with tested prompts.

What you will be able to do

  • Decide whether Muse fits your work and your company's rules: You'll weigh the facts as of 2026-10-28: where Muse is available (the US, Canada and Japan), the 18+ age limit, the plans (free with a usage limit, Power at $20/month, Maximum at $100/month), the public incidents since launch and what the Terms prohibit. You'll also learn to check Meta's official pages, because these facts change.
  • Set it up safely and connect only what it needs: You'll set up a separate account with training turned off and both permission defaults on Always ask. You'll answer approval cards with Allow once or Deny, and your memory will hold your role and working rules but no confidential matters. Once IT approves, you'll connect Gmail and Google Calendar read-only, one at a time. You'll also write down what you will never connect or upload: board, deal, payroll and employee data, a primary email account with send rights, corporate cards and custom connectors.
  • Get a weekday leadership brief that doesn't turn into a news feed: You'll schedule a morning brief that draws on read-only email and calendar plus a short list of companies and topics you choose to watch. It shows the decisions waiting for you and what to prepare for today's meetings, and any reply drafts wait for your review.
  • Prepare a live decision without handing it over: You'll work through the chain-contract case and write prompts that tie every claim to a source and mark anything unverified [CHECK]. The prompts also keep an assumptions register and lay out real alternatives with their constraints. You make the call yourself and write down your reasons.
  • Keep goals, board updates and meetings moving, as drafts that wait for you: You'll turn an annual goal into quarterly milestones with owners by role, and use weekly Goals check-ins to catch changed assumptions and slipped dependencies. You'll draft board and investor updates only from figures you paste in, and produce meeting recaps with a table of decisions, owners and due dates. You do the sending yourself, with no share links.
  • Check each week what Muse actually did: You'll run a weekly review of the Activity log, Upcoming, Memory, Allowed websites and connectors. Then you'll correct, stop, export or reset anything that doesn't match what you intended.
